Consciously or not, many of my friends manage to have given father bods tacit acceptance in their dating choices, as well. None of us are waiting around with the squat rack to talk to your dude with the perfect arms, and that includes the women in my social circle who enjoy spending a good quantity of time inside the health club themselves.
Like, How will you think this is going to go down? Are we about to take turns flying back and forth every other weekend, or are you currently just about to shift right here…?

I suppose until the next positive male body image movement rolls around, so likely a while. It’s an empowering strategy to know that someone finds your body attractive or warm or sexy.
Pearson: Yeah. You really don’t hear a great deal of people talking about male bodies. Nobody talks about shapes of guys; they’re just man-shaped. Some people have told me that the article is shallow, because it’s exclusively focused within the body. But there are plenty of terms for girls’ bodies—like ‘thigh gap’—that promote really unhealthy bodies.
